About these terms
These Terms of Sale and Website Use govern your use of this website and purchases of original artworks from Alina Moroko, a sole trader trading as Mila Moroko (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By using our website, placing an order, or confirming a purchase with us, you agree to these terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Information about your cancellation rights and our Model Cancellation Form is available on our Cancellation page.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, English law applies and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not limit any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
Website Use
- Acceptable Use: You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not use our site in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
- Prohibited Actions: You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which it is stored or any database connected to it.
- Site Availability: We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business or operational reasons.
Artworks
- Each listed painting is an original, hand-painted, one-of-one artwork sold under the Mila Moroko name, unless clearly described otherwise.
- Colours shown on screen may differ slightly from the physical artwork due to display settings, lighting, photography and individual screen calibration.
- Dimensions, medium, materials and finishes are described on the relevant product page.
- Commissioned, personalised or custom works may be available by separate agreement.
- Availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed. Because each original artwork is unique, an artwork may become unavailable before an order is completed.
- If we are unable to supply an artwork for which you have already paid, we will cancel the order and refund the amount paid.
Prices, Shipping, and Payment
Catalogue prices are shown in GBP and may also be displayed in other currencies for convenience.
The final amount, currency, shipping charge and payment method applicable to your order are shown at Checkout before you complete the purchase.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at Checkout according to the artwork and delivery destination.
- United Kingdom: Shipping is free and included in the artwork price.
- International orders: A “Fully Insured Shipping” charge is added at Checkout according to the delivery destination and applicable shipping rate.
Payment arrangements are shown at Checkout. Depending on the method selected, payment may be taken securely through an online payment provider or completed by direct bank transfer.
For direct bank transfer orders, payment is treated as received only when cleared funds have been received.
Title to the physical artwork passes to you when payment has cleared in full.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before accepting an order. If an artwork is no longer available and payment has already been taken, we will cancel the order and refund the amount paid.
Delivery
We normally dispatch artworks within 1–3 working days after payment confirmation.
For deliveries within the United Kingdom, delivery is typically completed within 5–7 working days from the order date, provided payment is confirmed promptly. For direct bank transfer orders where payment is confirmed later, delivery timing may run from payment confirmation.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, customs procedures for international deliveries or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.
Where delivery is arranged by us, the artwork remains at our risk until it comes into your physical possession or into the physical possession of a person identified by you to receive it.
Please inspect the packaging and artwork on arrival. If you notice visible transit damage, please contact us promptly and, where practicable, notify the carrier.
Failure to notify us immediately does not affect any statutory rights you may have if the artwork is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Cancellation and Returns
If you are a consumer purchasing a ready-made artwork from us online, you normally have the right to cancel your order without giving any reason.
You may exercise this right from the time the contract is entered into until 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the artwork.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the cancellation period expires. You may do this by email or by using our Model Cancellation Form.
You do not have to use the Model Cancellation Form to exercise your right to cancel.
Exceptions
The statutory right to cancel does not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including commissioned or personalised artworks made specifically for you.
The fact that an artwork is an original, unique or one-of-a-kind work does not, by itself, remove your statutory right to cancel a purchase of a ready-made artwork.
Returning an artwork
If you cancel after receiving the artwork, you must return it to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of your decision to cancel.
For a change-of-mind cancellation, you are responsible for arranging and paying the direct cost of returning the artwork, unless we agree otherwise.
Because original artworks may be valuable and fragile, we strongly recommend that returned artworks are securely packaged and sent using an appropriate tracked and insured service.
Where reasonably possible, please reuse the original packaging or use other packaging providing equivalent protection. Use of the original packaging is recommended but is not a condition of exercising your statutory cancellation right.
These return-cost provisions do not affect your statutory rights where an artwork is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Refunds
If you validly cancel your order, we will reimburse the payments received from you without undue delay.
If you cancel before receiving the artwork and there is no artwork for you to return, reimbursement will be made no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of your decision to cancel.
If you have received the artwork, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the artwork back or you provide evidence that you have returned it, whichever occurs first.
Where the artwork has been returned, reimbursement will be made no later than 14 days after the day on which we receive the artwork back or you provide evidence that you have returned it, whichever occurs first.
The refund will include the price paid for the artwork and the cost of our standard outbound delivery option.
If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional cost above the standard delivery charge.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise.
We may make a deduction for any reduction in the value of the artwork resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition.
These cancellation rights do not affect your separate statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
Intellectual Property
Copyright and all other intellectual property rights in the artworks, as well as in all content on this website, including images, text, logos and website design, remain with the relevant rights holder(s).
You may view and download pages from the website for your own personal use, subject to applicable copyright law.
Purchase of a physical artwork does not transfer copyright in the artwork or any right to reproduce, publish, distribute or commercially exploit images of it.
You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, distribute or otherwise commercially exploit material from our website without the express written consent of the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
In particular, nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to those rights and liabilities, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time.
The version of these Terms of Sale and Website Use in force when you place an order applies to that order.
The “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page identifies the current version.
