Shipping at a glance

Each painting sold on this website is an original, one-of-one artwork. Shipping is calculated according to the artwork and its destination, and the applicable amount is shown at Checkout before you complete your purchase.

  • United Kingdom: shipping is free and included in the artwork price.
  • International orders: a Fully Insured Shipping charge is added at Checkout according to the delivery destination and the applicable shipping rate.

Only destinations currently available at Checkout can be selected for an online order.

Dispatch and delivery

We normally dispatch artworks within 1–3 working days after payment confirmation.

For deliveries within the United Kingdom, delivery is typically completed within 5–7 working days from the order date, provided payment is confirmed promptly. For direct bank transfer orders where payment is confirmed later, delivery timing may run from payment confirmation.

International delivery times vary by destination. Courier delays, customs procedures or incorrect delivery information can affect delivery times, so delivery estimates cannot be guaranteed.

Where delivery is arranged by us, the artwork remains at our risk until it comes into your physical possession, or into the physical possession of a person you have identified to receive it.

When your artwork arrives

Please inspect the packaging and artwork on arrival. If you notice visible transit damage, contact us promptly at milamoroko@gmail.com and, where practicable, notify the carrier.

Prompt notification helps us deal with a delivery problem quickly, but it does not reduce any statutory rights you may have if the artwork is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

Change-of-mind cancellation

If you are a consumer purchasing a ready-made artwork from us online, you normally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.

The cancellation period runs until 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the artwork.

To cancel, tell us clearly before the cancellation period expires. You can email milamoroko@gmail.com or use our Model Cancellation Form. You do not have to use the form.

Commissioned and personalised works

The statutory right to cancel does not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including commissioned or personalised artworks made specifically for you.

An artwork being original, unique or one-of-a-kind does not, by itself, remove the statutory cancellation right for a ready-made artwork.

Returning an artwork

If you cancel after receiving the artwork, you must return it without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you told us you were cancelling.

For a change-of-mind cancellation, you are responsible for arranging and paying the direct cost of the return unless we agree otherwise.

Because original artworks can be valuable and fragile, we strongly recommend:

  • secure packaging that protects the artwork in transit;
  • an appropriate tracked and insured return service;
  • reusing the original packaging where reasonably possible, or using packaging that provides equivalent protection.

Using the original packaging is recommended, but it is not a condition of exercising a statutory cancellation right.

Refunds

If you validly cancel your order, we will reimburse the payments due to you without undue delay.

If you have received the artwork, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the artwork back or you provide evidence that you have returned it, whichever happens first.

The refund includes the artwork price and the cost of our standard outbound delivery option. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard option, the additional amount above the standard delivery cost does not have to be refunded.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise. A deduction may be made for any reduction in the artwork's value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly described artwork

The change-of-mind return-cost rules above do not affect your separate statutory rights where an artwork is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

If there is a problem with your order, contact milamoroko@gmail.com so we can address it promptly.
